The other day our driver colleague had a very pleasant surprise! Our driver, who has been a long-time member of our team, received a nice gift from his passenger – a keychain!
The other day in the office, a colleague was “bragging” -rightly- about the gift he received from a passenger returning from a posting, whom he has been transporting to work every day for years!
It was a touching gesture, really, and even though he was “only” doing his job, he was very pleased with the thoughtfulness, the classic suvenir from abroad!
It made me think how small things could be enough to each other in the grey everyday life, to feel appreciated and well! Even a smile can be enough, let’s not be stingy!
