The news has been officially confirmed that in 2023, those who take part in the attendance training scheme will not have to take the CCI retest! Schools will be able to start the first training courses without exams from 23 August 2023.
Of course, the need to renew the CCI will not be eliminated, but you will have the choice to choose between the examination-free in-service training or the online training, which will still be compulsory!
The choice will be open in August! You can take the exam after a total of 35 hours of online training!
If you choose to attend a non-exam-based in-service training course, you are expected to take 3×10 hours, of which 10 hours can be taken online. However, at least 20 hours will be on-site, classroom-based. At the end of the training, an 8-hour practical training course on the training track or simulator will be required.
The two types of CCI extension are considered equivalent. What is new is that anyone who takes care of their renewal in time will not lose the 5 years validity period, because the new 5 years will be counted from the date of expiry.
